Background and Education
Victor Peng, an aspiring entrepreneur, established Vix Ventures to leverage his operational and investment experience as a private equity investor towards multifamily real estate. A Texan native and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Victor’s career began as a finance professional in his hometown of Houston, TX
Finance and Investment Banking
Victor began his career as an investment banker advising companies on complex mergers and acquisitions across a diverse range of industries including energy, retail, tech, industrials and business services. Through this experience, he developed a strong work ethic and became a Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint aficionado
Transition to Investing
Driven by goals of learning from successful investors and running away from Houston's heat and humidity, Victor moved to Miami, FL to pursue a career in private equity. Victor worked alongside world-class teams to execute on strategic value-creation goals for businesses ranging from $10M to $200M+ in sales. Today, Victor is still enjoying Miami's coastline and involved as a private equity investor sourcing and analyzing the next business platform for his firm
Multifamily Opportunity
Victor’s drive for multifamily assets comes from his own personal success investing in smaller multifamily, and his goal of giving his parents a better life. Recognizing the long-term scalability in creatively structuring and repositioning assets, Victor set his sights on larger buildings. These target properties—often burdened by deferred maintenance and mismanagement—represent ideal value-add opportunities but he admits he has a lot to learn and is eager to connect with all investors and advisors for advice and best practices
Vix Ventures’ Vision
At Vix Ventures, Victor seeks to collaborate with sellers to develop tailored creative structures that fit the goals of all stakeholders. By acquiring and transforming properties, Vix Ventures aims to reshape local communities, one building at a time
